Lombard's is built as a Fisherman's Wharf seafood house: high ceilings, a central fountain, big windows onto the lagoon and a wraparound terrace. It is the closest thing this park has to a proper restaurant and the room is genuinely handsome.
The menu leans seafood — fish, shrimp, crab cakes, chowder — alongside steak, pasta and a burger for anyone who does not want any of that. It is competently cooked rather than exciting, and it is priced accordingly.
Two practical things make it worth knowing about. The terrace has a view over the lagoon, which is where the nighttime show happens, and same-day availability here is more common than anywhere else in the park.
The most comfortable meal in the park and rarely fully booked. Competent rather than memorable food in a genuinely good room, which is a fair trade at these prices.

Not usually. It has the most reliable same-day availability of any table-service location in this park, and walk-ups are frequently seated outside peak dinner. Booking ahead only really matters for a terrace table on a busy evening.
The terrace faces the lagoon and gets an angle on the show, though it is not a guaranteed or reserved viewing position and the restaurant does not sell it as one. If that is your plan, book the latest terrace slot you can get and manage expectations.
Yes. The room is big and noisy enough that children are not a problem, the menu has straightforward non-seafood options, and it is one of the few places in this park where a family can sit down properly for an hour.
