What it is
The Bourne Stuntacular opened in 2020 in the theatre that held Terminator 2: 3-D, and its central idea is that the boundary between a live performer and a screen image should be invisible. A huge LED wall runs the length of the stage and moves; performers run onto and off it, hand off to a filmed version of themselves mid-motion, and the audience genuinely cannot always tell which is which.
When it works — a chase across rooftops, a fight that starts on screen and continues in front of it — it is the most technically accomplished thing staged at this resort. Practical stunts, wire work, a motorcycle, and pyrotechnics are layered on top.
The weakness is the story, which is a functional excuse to move between set pieces and will mean nothing to anyone who has not seen the films. That is a small complaint about twenty-five minutes of very good stagecraft in an air-conditioned theatre that almost never fills.
What riding it is actually like
The queue is short and indoors and the theatre is large. Seating is unreserved and the house opens several minutes before each performance.
The show runs a sequence of chases and fights across several locations, with the LED wall changing environment behind and around the performers. The best moments are the handoffs, where a performer runs into the screen and a filmed double picks up the motion without a visible cut.
The pyrotechnics are concussive rather than merely loud, and the volume is the highest of any show in the park. Sit in the middle third, straight on: the LED wall is designed for a central viewing angle and the illusion breaks down badly from the sides.
Is The Bourne Stuntacular scary?
Gunfire, explosions and hand-to-hand fights staged with concussive pyrotechnics you feel in your chest. Nothing graphic is shown, but the volume is the highest of any show at this park and the bangs are sudden. Noise-reducing headphones are a reasonable call for a child who dislikes loud noise.

Level access to a large theatre with fixed seating and designated wheelchair positions. The show depends almost entirely on a moving LED wall, so it offers little to a guest with significant vision loss. Ask about assistive listening at the door.
Tips that actually help
- Sit in the middle third of the theatre. The screen effect is built for a straight-on angle and it visibly fails from the far sides.
- The pyrotechnics are felt as much as heard. Consider ear defenders for a noise-sensitive child, and sit further back rather than closer.
- The theatre almost never fills. Arriving ten minutes before a performance is enough on all but the busiest days.
- It offers very little to a guest with significant vision loss, since the effect is entirely visual. The Horror Make-Up Show is the better choice in that case.
- Pair it with the Horror Make-Up Show in the same afternoon. Both are cool, both are close together, and together they cover the two worst hours of the day.

It is the loudest show at this park. The pyrotechnics are concussive and you feel them in your chest rather than just hearing them. Ear defenders are a reasonable precaution for a noise-sensitive child, and sitting further back helps more than sitting to the side.
