Hollywood Ride Guide
Parties, festivals, overlays and after-hours events — what each one is, what it costs, and whether it is worth the money. Every page states whether this year is confirmed or still expected.
Separate ticket
An adult horror event rather than a Halloween party. For the remaining 2026 run, compare available weeknights first; a busy October Saturday without event Express Pass can leave little time for all ten houses.
Confirmed
Seasonal overlay
Universal Orlando’s 2026 holiday season runs November 14 through January 3, 2027. Park entertainment is included with regular admission across the resort; the optional Universal Holiday Tour costs extra.

Festival
The best-value thing Universal Orlando runs, because there is no ticket: a night parade, a concert series, and a street of Cajun food booths, all included with regular admission to Universal Studios Florida. The catch is that the good parts run on select nights and the concert brings the whole of Central Florida with it.

Seasonal overlay
The best value in the Universal Studios Hollywood year, because none of it costs anything beyond a regular ticket: a live Grinch show, a redressed Upper Lot, and the Wizarding World's castle projection after dark. It is also the season that makes this park worth a day with young children, which it otherwise is not.

Separate ticket
A shorter, tighter version of the Orlando event with one thing Orlando cannot copy: the Terror Tram, which takes the backlot after dark. It is an adult horror event, it is small enough that Los Angeles fills it on Fridays and Saturdays, and the night you pick matters more than anything else you decide.
Confirmed
| Label | What it means | What we will state |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed | Officially announced, with the announcement named on the page. | Exact dates and prices. |
| Expected | Not announced, but the pattern has held for at least three years. | Windows and ranges. Never an exact date. |
| Last confirmed cycle | This cycle is unannounced or unclear. | Last cycle's figures, labeled with their year. |
Most competing pages state this year's dates whether or not anyone announced them. That is the practice this labelling exists to avoid.
